On October 25, El Cerrito Police Officers, working alongside Loss Prevention Agents, conducted a targeted retail theft operation at the El Cerrito Plaza, covering businesses such as Marshalls, Ross, CVS, Lucky, and Foot Locker.
During the operation, which took place between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, six individuals were arrested for shoplifting. The suspects are:
- Timothy Millet, 59, of San Francisco
- David Hernandez, 34, of Oakland
- Delton Harris, 53, of San Francisco
- Christopher Leach, 43, of Crockett
- Heather Stock, 29, of Berkeley
- Quarron Reed, 25, of Paso Robles
According to police, all stolen items were successfully recovered and returned to the stores. The El Cerrito Police Department emphasized its commitment to partnering with local businesses to deter crime and ensure a safer community.
“The El Cerrito Police, and our business partners, want criminals to know that we arrest and prosecute thieves,” the department stated, reinforcing their dedication to enhancing safety and quality of life for residents and businesses alike.
