Boise, Idaho — Boise Police have apprehended two suspects accused of stealing high-value merchandise from businesses throughout the Boise Valley. The suspects, identified as Francisco Bautista, 49, from Caldwell, and Aliyaah Al-tememy, 20, from Boise, allegedly worked together to target upscale items for resale and pawn.
Authorities report that the duo frequently posted stolen merchandise online to sell or pawn. The businesses they targeted are part of the Organized Retail Crime Association of Idaho (ORCAID), a network through which retailers share information on suspects and recent thefts. Boise detectives, in collaboration with ORCAID, used shared intelligence to identify and locate Bautista and Al-tememy.
The Boise Police Department’s ongoing efforts with ORCAID underscore their commitment to fighting organized retail crime in the region, protecting businesses and reducing the financial impact on local communities.
